Innovaker is produced in the Cerdisa plant in Maranello, a pilot industrial plant for the use of ‘Twin Press’, a new technology able to manufacture products with a remarkable production flexibility. In fact, Twin Press allows changing a mould in 30 seconds rather than the 6 hours that is usually necessary. Avoiding waste of resources, it is therefore possible to change production frequently and manufacture small quantities with special dimensions and modules, even non standard requests according the designer’s individual requirements. The possibility of manufacturing just in time with respect to quantity and size allows for a more appropriate use of resources (reduction of environmental impact) and a minor warehousing. Moreover the technique of dry decoration, which abolishes the use of glazing machines, is eco-compatible. The size of a whole slab is 66 cm by 132 cm, with a variable thickness of 7 to 14 millimetres.

Ceramic Granite (granito ceramico) is the result of the evolution of the porcelain tile towards natural stones. It is full body veined; it has high technical and aesthetic performances and a great versatility of use. The typical properties of natural stones, both in terms of aesthetics and process, are transposed to an industrial material which therefore has a high standard of consistency that optimises its performance (greater control of material) and reduces the environmental impact of excessive and uncontrolled quarry extractions. MIRAGE, one of the most advanced companies in the production and use of this material, markets the products produced through this technology with the registered trademark GRANITO CERAMICO®. Veining in the full-body is similar to that in marble and granite. The broad range of colours and sizes available (from 3x3x0.8 cm to 120x180x3 cm) and its high resistance to chemical attacks make ceramic granite an alternative material suitable for many projects and applications.
