ECO IS GOOD
Eco is good purposely avoids all general references to ecology in order to concentrate on the instruments of analysis (LCA, Life Cycle Assessment), on the certification of the product (Ecolabel) and of the process (EMAS) and, finally, on schemes such as IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention Control) that, as is explained in the section FOCUS, considers the problematic management of pollution on a integrated level and is, potentially, a fundamental instrument for the promotion of sustainable development.
In this way it will be possible to begin again the discussion on ecology, no longer in the context of good intentions, but the more practical one of the instruments currently available in the industrial sector.

There is a double objective: to push an ever increasing number of manufacturers of all dimensions to adopt practices favourable to the environment and at the same time, give their strategies on sustainability greater clarity and, of consequence, an ulterior instrument to compete on the global market.

In the collection of CASE STUDIES in this section one can find some of the more interesting projects relative to the good relationship between natural environments and artificially created environments, examples of excellent recovery of degraded areas or those left to deteriorate, and finally, the projects that include the use of ceramic products and/or certified eco-friendly services.
