LOGES SYSTEM

Developed by Casalgrande Padana with an exclusive licence, the LOGES system (ORIENTATION, GUIDE AND SECURITY LINE, patent n° 00237769) is a special language, imprinted on fine porcelain tiles Granitogres, which offers greater independence of movement and safety to the visually impaired. The system fully complies with the existent legislation on the removal of architectural barriers.

The flooring is modular and features specially designed fluting with varying shapes, spaces and heights to provide the visually impaired with the information to follow a particular route using a white stick, touch, sound and colour contrast. Stop points, dangers, and obstacles are easily identified making it an ideal way to navigate safely around train stations, subways, airports, and crowded public places. In Italy it has already been adopted by, among others, Ferrovie dello Stato (national railways), Poste Italiane (Italian post) and the City of Rome.
