“The value of emotions in a business relationship” was a conference organised by the company Summit in Milan on 14 October 2003. The aims of the initiative were to present some elements for further reflection, define concrete applications at the level of both individuals and organisations, and to share different company experiences. The debate focused on the thesis that emotional value helps to develop long time relations with the client. Moreover, according to participants, emotions also influence the value attributed to a brand.

"Sensory suite" - It was headline news: the opening on April 2003 of the first beauty centre located in the most important Italian airport. The TONIC BEAUTY CLUB was launched at the Leonardo da Vinci Airport at Fiumicino, and is the first Italian ‘well-being network’. It is an innovative structure, with departments dedicated to beauty, relaxing, shopping, aesthetics and make-up products, that operates in an exclusive and cocoon-like environment in a location that receives 25 million passengers every year. The airport centre, the only one in Italy, offers the first poly-sensorial room, the ‘sensory suite’, a discreet environment where, in a timeframe between 30 and 90 minutes, it is possible to discover the pleasure of relaxing with shiatsu and holistic massages accompanied by aroma-therapy, chromo-therapy and music-therapy.

Citröen, C3 buddha-bar - In May 2003, Citröen has presented the special limited series C3 buddha-bar named after the well-known Parisian bar. Dedicated to a public fascinated by the European re-interpretation of eastern life-styles, thanks to the exclusive kit, the city car Buddha-bar presents inside the characteristic ‘lounge’ atmosphere. In fact, the client, at the moment of buying the car, receives a special pack containing the music CD Buddha-bar volume V, two T-shirts signed Buddha-bar, a discount purchasing card, and an Aroma Relax kit created specially by Citröen. The special series C3 is advertised in a dedicated TV spot, that presents the transformation of C3 in “C3 buddha-bar... the first poly-sensorial car”.
